Dr. Kramer joined the Sheboygan Animal Hospital veterinary team in June 2012. Although he spent his childhood in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Hull, Iowa; and Bradenton, Florida, he now exclusively calls Sheboygan 'home.' Dr. Kramer earned a BS degree in Biology at Calvin College in 2005, an MS degree in Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2007, and a DVM degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. Previously, he worked at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services of Rochester (New York) and also served as a rotating small animal emergency / internal medicine / surgery intern. His medical interests include emergency medicine, ultrasound imaging, and the human-animal bond/relationship.
In his spare time, Dr. Kramer enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, biking, and traveling. He has a 5-year-old Cairn Terrier named Bella. Dr. Kramer says that he is happy to be back home in Sheboygan, after spending the last several years of training and work elsewhere!
